This was the day I was finally going to post early because I didn't have to go work at school, but here I am once again hurrying to get a post done before the midnight deadline.
I'm not sure how I became a rush, rush, rush, and oops I'm late again person, but it's pretty much how things go most days for me. I am usually just trying to fit way too many activities and errands into too little time.
One thing on my To Do List today was to pack and mail a box for my youngest child who lives many, many miles away in another state. That was a chore, but one that was happy. I stopped by the market and bought a few bags of Japanese snacks to use as packing material. It's a fun way to fill the box up when there is too much space. I made it to the post office an hour before closing and the little box of books and treats is making its way across the miles. Yay for beating that deadline and this one too - at least for today.
Using snacks as packing material is brilliant and, I imagine, less wasteful than typical packing materials. And about late posts. When I first started blogging in the TWT community, I wrote the day of the call. I now write the evening before. For example, I write Friday evening for Saturday. I’m in MST, so I get the call at 10:00 pm instead of midnight. That allows me to link for the next day before I sleep. Over time I realized others plan their posts for the month (I don’t), and I’m sure a few have many posts written prior to the challenge beginning. The biggest benefit, I think, is increased engagement. So find a writing time that works best for you. 😊
