About Me

I still like to finger paint
During the day I'm a teacher librarian in Wisconsin. After school, I'm a mom, wife, reader, runner, writer, photographer, and have many other interests. I enjoy trying new activities and exploring new places.

If you visit many pages on my blog, you'll probably notice I'm also an advocate for diverse books. I have a curiosity about the world and love having access to books that allow me to see more of the world and the people in it than I will ever be able to on my own. I also want my students to be able to see themselves and the wider world in the books around them.

I am so glad you came to visit. Feel free to cruise around and comment on what you see.

Other spots to find me on the Internet:

I'm librarygrl2 on Twitter and Tumblr, or email me at crbrunelle @ gmail.com

I'm also a co-blogger at Rich in Color, a blog devoted to diversity in YA. We would love to have you visit!
