It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. It's a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover your next “must-read” book!

Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and Jen Vincent, of Teach Mentor Texts decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them.

If you want to know more about what I've been reading, visit my Goodreads shelf.

Reading at Home

The Lost Girl was lovely! Pushout and We Are Here to Stay were helpful to read though difficult. The Weight of Our Sky was fast paced and was well done, but was also difficult reading even though it was fiction. Jack Not Jackie and We Belong Together were not favorites and I wouldn't recommend them, but the rest were nice.

The Coming Week:

I'm reading Blended by Sharon Draper and I'm not sure what will come next. My wrist is a little better, but I am still not enjoying typing all that much so am keeping it short. Happy reading!

  1. I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed The Lost Girl. I've been very curious about The Weight of Our Sky (and now I'm even more curious after your mention of it being difficult reading). I hope you enjoy the rest of Blended AND that your wrist feels better this week. That's no fun at all! :(

  2. Happy that your wrist is better. Amazing what a small thing can do to hamper us. I'm starting The Lost Girl soon. I've noted We Are Here To Stay & The Weight of Our Sky. Thanks, Crystal. I do have Blended on my list, will read it soon as I can.
