It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What are you reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. Jen Vincent over at Teach Mentor Texts and Kellee Moye from Unleashing Readers decided to put a children's and YA spin on it and they invite anyone with an interest to join in. You can participate by creating your post then visit one of their sites to add your site. Finally, visit at least three participant blogs and comment to spread the love.

If you want to know more about what I am reading, visit me at my Goodreads shelf. Images via Goodreads unless otherwise noted.

Books Completed

I loved Arcady's Goal. It's another thoughtful historical fiction for middle grade from Eugene Yelchin.   Hope is an Open Heart was gorgeous and inspiring. All were enjoyable though and it was a good week of reading.

The Coming Week:
Currently Reading

I will likely finish all of these except Elements of Style which is not meant to be rushed in any way. I have Strike! by Brimner, Hidden Like Anne Frank, and Frida & Diego in my TBR pile on the couch. I will also be starting an ARC of Hold Me Down by Calvin Slater. I will also get an audio book for the drive to ALA. *happy dance*

Have a wonderful week!

  1. I've just picked up Arcady's Goal from the library. As soon as the titles that are due first are done, then I can get to it! Paranoid Panda sounds delightful!

  2. I have Arcady's Goal checked out right now, but I don't think I'll have time before it's due. I think it's going on the summer list!
I'll be at ALA - exhibit. Hopefully I'll see you there!

  3. Add me to the list wanting Arcady's Goal. In fact, since Cheriee and I share the same library, I would say she is one ahead of me in the request line! As I have it on hold too! Can't wait to read it!

  4. Harlem Hellfighters looks like a powerful read. Hope Is an Open Heart sounds like my kind of read! :)
