It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What are you reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. Jen Vincent over at Teach Mentor Texts and Kellee Moye from Unleashing Readers decided to put a children's and YA spin on it and they invite anyone with an interest to join in. You can participate by creating your post then visit one of their sites to add your site. Finally, visit at least three participant blogs and comment to spread the love.

If you want to know more about what I am reading, visit me at my Goodreads shelf. Images via Goodreads unless otherwise noted.

The Past Week: I have been getting ready for the beginning of school so have had less time for reading, but I snuck some in here and there. I will head back to school tomorrow to finish as much set up as I can before students arrive on Tuesday. My LMC is not quite finished, but they let me in without a hardhat last Monday and the furniture started arriving. It's not all put together yet, but they should be done with the bookshelves on Tuesday. Eek!

Here are the books that I read and enjoyed this week.

Several were on my #MustRead2015 list and I will do an update on that later this week.

The Coming Week:
School is starting and getting the LMC ready is a priority. I'm still reading an adult book Neither Wolf Nor Dog, but I am not sure if I will do any new reading. I'll be doing lots of re-reading of picture books during the first week of school with my students though. Have a great week!

  1. I've seen a lot of people talking about "The War That Saved My Life", I think I'm going to have to pick that one up!

    1. Phoebe was so funny. Perfect to read as I waited in urgent care feeling yucky on Friday. She lifted my spirits. :)

  3. I hope you enjoyed Enchanted Air, one I want to read soon, Crystal. I know it's late, but when you finally get your new space, and all set up, it'll be so exciting. Best wishes to you!

I had a graphic novel week too - Sunny Side Up and Phoebe were on my list. Phoebe had me cracking up quite a bit!

    1. Yes. It's good we enjoy our jobs since we spend so much time there. I put in about 30 extra hours in the past week.

  6. Ooo... I keep seeing Enchanted Air pop up. That's going to have to make my list (AFTER I knock out some more Must Read books! I'm falling behind on that list).
