It's so hard to know if things are represented accurately when you are looking in from the outside.Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14662811441487822589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-645170464461303667.post-45657776884190029902013-08-26T04:35:55.859-07:002013-08-26T04:35:55.859-07:00I loved The Garden of my Imaam, too. So sad that this still happens.Tara @ A Teaching Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07195982194362559883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-645170464461303667.post-66386865594679872942013-08-26T02:19:09.473-07:002013-08-26T02:19:09.473-07:00Hi there Crystal, thanks for sharing all these tit...Hi there Crystal, thanks for sharing all these titles. Sold had quite a mixed response during the Asian Festival of Children's Content here in Singapore two years back. One academic/educator recommended it during her session while another author (who happens to be Muslim) shared during her own session that it does not fully capture the Muslim experience. So quite a controversial book that raised multiple thoughts/ideations/perspectives. My eye was caught by Peace Warriors - will be on the lookout for that one.GatheringBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04477710897574769648noreply@blogger.com
